Hi!  I’m Mae. 

You probably already know about me, at least a little bit, otherwise it would be kind of strange (and exciting) for you to be just learning about me here and now. 

Some of you may remember me from such names as “Amy Silvia” or perhaps “Amy Mae Silvia”.  Others watched the dramatic transformation of my last name from “Silvia” into “Carpenter” as I exclaimed those fancy magic words “I do” back in August.  Funny that.  Still, some of you may be thinking, “Amy?!  Is her name really Amy?  That’s crazy!  I had no idea!  I can’t believe she didn’t tell me!”  ...yeah.  Sorry about that.  It’s true. 

To avoid further confusion, let’s play a little catch-up.

I was once a baby.  30-some-odd years later I became pregnantaned grew a baby inside of my body (see above).  On May 14th that baby was removed from my belly and now I am a Mommy with a baby on the outside! (see “Tobias”)

I like being a mommy very much!

I’m also lucky enough to be married to the love of my life.  Dave is my favorite and together we used our super powers to create “family”.

My brother, Matt, also used to be a baby. 

One day he fell in love with this hot chick named Jill.
